Canister vacuums
One of the main selling points for buying canister vacuums
is the fact that they are effective at sucking up dirt and debris, but
often cost much less than traditional vacuum cleaners.
Most canister vacuums are compact, lightweight, and easy to store.
They often will fit in a storage area of a boat or a camper for those
who want to take them on the road. Likewise, those who prefer to keep
them at home can easily fit them into a closet.
Some of the nicer canister vacuums feature five levels of filtration.
These filtration levels increase the likelihood that the vacuum will
be able to capture most particles and bacteria.
In addition to the vacuum itself, those who sell canister vacuums will
often include a crevice tool and a dusting brush with the purchase.
A variety of wands of different shapes and sizes may also be included
in the purchase.
Most canister vacuums feature a power switch located on the body, however
some of the cheaper models will simply turn on as soon as the device
is plugged into the wall outlet.
Because these vacuums are often used in smaller areas, the cords on
canister vacuums are normally not as long as the cords found on regular
vacuums. Around 15 feet long is about the right length for the cord
on canister vacuums.
