Cordless vacuums

The assumption that all cordless vacuums are alike is not exactly true. While there are many similarities among these kinds of vacuums, there are also significant differences. Some of the things to keep in mind when shopping for cordless vacuums are:

• Use time – The longer the use time, the better. Some charges will last for only 15 minutes. Most stick sweepers will last about half an hour.

• Consider suction – Because most stores have a return policy, it is suggested to test out the cordless vacuums as soon as you get home. Throw some rice in the floor and see how well the vacuum picks it up. If it does not pick up as well as you feel it should, simply return it.

• Consider floor clearance – Some cordless vacuums include a feature that allows the used to modify how close to the floor the base of the vacuum is. Some who find that they are unable to suction up simple items like cereal, may want to adjust these settings. Before a purchase is made, it may be important to verify that these settings exist on the cordless vacuums that are being considered.
