Vacuum Cleaners

Whereas some vacuum cleaners are bagless and some have bags, there is not usually a large difference in how these vacuums operate.

Despite this, some people simply tend to prefer one of these vacuums over the other. Tests that have been done by consumer groups show that both of these types of vacuum cleaners work equally well. The difference lies in the area of convenience.

Even though bagless vacuum cleaners can save you some money because you do not need to buy extra bags, it is a fact that they can be messy to empty. Likewise, their filter and dust containers also must be kept clean to operate at the highest level. On the other hand, vacuum cleaners that have bags are able to remove dust and dirt from sight, but if some kind of small item like a piece of jewelry gets sucked up, it can be difficult to retrieve this from the bag.

It is hard to say which of these vacuum cleaners is more cost effective. Over the long run, a consumer can save a good deal of money by not needing to buy bags, but the overall cost effectiveness will still depend greatly on how well the vacuum cleans.
